Session tags and colours

How to create session tags to categorise trainings, restrict tags to certain session types, and change session colours.

Written by Liam Radford

Tags

Tags are labels you put on a session to say what kind of training or event it is, for example Store Colleague, Security or Management.

Create a tag

  1. Open Settings \> Sessions \> Session Tags.

  2. Enter a Tag Name and choose a Color.

  3. Optionally choose Restrict to session types. If you pick none, the tag is available on all session types.

  4. Choose Add Tag.

You can edit or delete a tag later. Deleting asks you to confirm.

Put a tag on a session

On a session, people with Assign tag to \[kind\] sessions can choose a tag. The tag shows on the session so people can see what it is at a glance.

Why use tags

  • Keep different kinds of training apart in the schedule.

  • Quickly show new staff which sessions suit them.

  • Tags are also kept when you copy a session.

Colours

Open Settings \> Sessions \> Session Colors. You can set the colour used for:

  • Recurring Sessions (the "Recurring" tag),

  • Shift sessions,

  • Training sessions,

  • and the other kinds, such as Event.

The change applies to everyone in the workspace.
