Bloxlink is a service that links Roblox accounts to Discord accounts. Rosterr's Bloxlink integration uses it to find a person's Discord account from their Roblox account, so it can message them on Discord when they are promoted, demoted or warned. It is also what makes the Notify users via Discord DM and the Discord server actions on the Staff page's mass actions work.
Before you start
The Discord integration must be set up first ("Discord integration must be configured first before setting up Bloxlink"). The Bloxlink server ID is filled in from it automatically.
Connect
Get an API key from your Bloxlink dashboard.
Open Settings > Integrations > Bloxlink Integration and choose Setup Integration.
Paste the key. It is encrypted and stored securely.
Save. Choose Test to send a test notification.
Options
Session summary: you can choose to send users a summary when they leave your game ("Send users a session summary when they leave the game").
Clear removes a recorded error. The page shows the last error if there was one.
Remove disconnects the integration. This deletes your key, and Discord DM notifications for user actions stop.
What it does for you
Logbook messages by Discord DM (when you choose "Notify users via Discord DM" on an entry).
The Staff page mass actions can kick or ban from your Discord server on a termination, and optionally delete message history.
It can pull a member's Discord ID onto their profile.
If a member is not messaged
They need a linked account on Bloxlink and to be in your Discord server. Bloxlink may not know them yet. Ask them to verify with Bloxlink.
