These are for workspaces that have the newer documents tools, which are being switched on in stages. If you do not see them, your workspace has not received them yet.
Save as a draft, publish when ready
When you edit a guide or a policy you can choose Save as draft instead of saving straight away. A draft sits beside the live document: what people read does not change until you publish it.
To work on a draft later, open History (on a policy's card, or in the guide editor). The draft shows its name, when it was saved and an excerpt.
Publish makes the draft the live version. You can add a note saying what changed.
Throw away deletes the draft.
You need Edit policies for a policy, Edit docs for a guide. Publishing a draft identical to the live version does not create a new version. If someone else publishes first, you are asked to reload.
Version history
Each time what people read changes, the version it replaced is kept (the newest 50). In History you see each version, when it was replaced, and any note. Choose Restore to draft to bring an old version back into your draft. It goes live only when you publish.
Ask everyone to agree again
When you publish a policy, or save a change with "Ask everyone to agree again", everyone who had agreed to the old version is asked to agree to the new one. Who agreed to the old version is kept in the record, so history is not lost.
Remind everyone who has not agreed
In History on a policy, choose Remind them. Rosterr sends an in-app notification (which also pings phones) and a Discord DM (if your bot is set up) to everyone who has not agreed yet.
You can remind once a day per policy.
If you press it twice at the same moment, only one set is sent.
It tells you how many people are still to agree, and when you can remind them again.
You need Manage policies, View policy compliance or Edit policies.
The Discord message can be switched off or reworded like other bot messages (under Policy reminder).
Search
At the top of Docs there is a search box: "Search docs and policies". Type words and results appear: every word must be in the name or text. You only see what you are allowed to read. Policies link to the page where you agree.
Your typing is kept safe
In the guide editor, what you type is kept in your browser as you go. If the page reloads before you save, you are offered Bring it back.
