New to your team's Rosterr? Start here (for staff members)

A short guide for a new staff member: signing in, what to check first, how to claim sessions, request leave and see your progress.

Written by Liam Radford

Your group uses Nebula Rosterr to run its team. This is what you need on day one.

1. Sign in

Use Discord or Roblox. You need both linked (Rosterr guides you through the second one). See "Sign in with Discord and Roblox (and link both accounts)". On a phone you can also install the app (see "Get the Nebula Rosterr phone apps (iPhone and Android)").

2. Find your workspace

After signing in, choose your group's workspace. If you do not see it, you have not been given a role yet. Ask an admin to check that your Roblox rank is connected and to sync the group (see "Why can't I sign in or see my workspace?").

3. Look around

The menu on the left (or the bottom bar on a phone) shows what you can use. Start at Home. See "Find your way around a workspace (the menu explained)".

4. Check your profile

Open your profile. Add your birthday if you want to be celebrated, and check your information.

5. Turn on notifications

Turn on pings on your phone or browser so you do not miss session reminders and leave decisions (see "Notifications and pings: the bell, phone alerts and what you can switch off"). If your team uses Discord, make sure you are in your team's server so the Rosterr bot can message you.

6. Read the required policies

If your workspace uses policies, you may have some to read and agree to. Look for the banner or open Docs > Policies (see "Policies and acknowledgements: read and agree to a policy").

7. Join your first session

Open Sessions, pick one, and claim a role (see "Claim a place in a session (and assign others)"). It then shows on your Home page.

8. Keep an eye on your quotas

My Quotas on Home shows what you need to do this period. Your Activity page shows your minutes (see "How does activity tracking work?").

9. Need time off?

Submit a notice (see "How do I request time off? (inactivity notices)").

10. Ask when you are stuck

Your workspace admins can help with roles and rules. For Rosterr itself, open Help and Support.
