Common roles you can start from (role presets)

The starter roles offered when you create a role in the newer editor, and what each one is for.

Written by Liam Radford

Presets appear in workspaces that have the newer role editor, which is being switched on in stages.

When you add a role you can start from a preset: a ready-made list of permissions to tick. A preset is only a starting point. Nothing is locked to it, and you can change anything afterwards. No preset ever gives Admin.
