While Nebula Rosterr is in its early-access period, new groups join through a waitlist. This article explains who can sign in straight away, who needs to apply, and what each stage means.
Who can sign in without applying
Anyone who already belongs to a workspace. If an admin has already given you a role in a workspace, you can sign in and use it normally. You do not need to join the waitlist.
Anyone who had an account before the waitlist started. They were let in automatically.
Who needs to apply
You need to apply if you want to bring your own Roblox group onto Rosterr, and you are not already on a workspace. Early access is granted per group: applying means giving the group's ID, and approval creates that group's workspace for you.
If you have not been let in and are not on a workspace, you can only see your application page. All other pages send you back to it.
How to apply
Go to the Rosterr website and choose Join the waitlist.
Sign in with Discord and link your Roblox account if you have not already (see "Sign in with Discord and Roblox (and link both accounts)").
Enter your Roblox group ID. Rosterr checks it with Roblox straight away.
Optionally add your team size and what you plan to use Rosterr for.
Submit. You will see "Your application has been submitted", with your group's real name and icon.
Rules your group has to meet
The group must be real and must not already have a Rosterr workspace.
You must hold a high enough rank in it. In practice that means an officer rank or above (Roblox rank number 25 or higher). The same rule applies when you create a workspace yourself.
If the check fails, Rosterr tells you why on the spot.
What the status page shows
Your application page shows four stages: Application submitted, In review, Decision, Early access. It also shows your place in the queue and any message from the Nebula team. While you wait you can change the group (if you gave the wrong one) or add the optional details. The page updates by itself within about a minute of a decision.
What happens when you are approved
You see "You're in" and a Go to your workspace button.
Your workspace is created from your group straight away. If the team gave you a future early-access date, you see "Your early access opens on" that date and the workspace is created when the day arrives.
You receive a notification on your phone or browser if you have pings turned on, and a Discord direct message from the Rosterr bot if Discord can reach you. The message says what happened but never includes the team's private notes.
If the workspace could not be created
Approval re-checks your rank in the group and that the group has not been given a workspace some other way. If either check fails, you are still approved, but the workspace is not created until the problem is fixed (for example, you may need a higher rank in the group). Rosterr keeps retrying automatically, so once the problem is fixed the workspace appears. If it does not, contact support.
If you are rejected
You see a short message and whatever the team wrote to you. You can ask support about it. You can also change your group and try again if you applied with the wrong one.
